Meet and greet #1: Mark Templeton

Yesterday we had the opportunity to meet the composer Mark Templeton in a video call.

Obviously, we talked music: about Arirang and Veni Veni Emmanuel, two pieces of his that are some of all our favourites in our repertoire; about his thoughts about the techniques of renaissance music; and about a traditional song in a swiss-german dialect for which he recently wrote an arrangement. Besides that, we also spoke about soccer, about Mark's cat and about the good luck of having friends and contacts from all around the world. 

To finish the session, we just had to listen once more to the recording of Veni Veni from the concert in the Basel cathdral in 2016.
